PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when visitors use the Greif Group website, submit a general inquiry or request information concerning a property. It reflects the processing activities identified in the website’s current implementation.

Last updated: 3 August 2026Greif Group · Adriatic Luxury

1. Data Controller

The controller responsible for the processing described in this Policy is the operator of the Greif Group website (Greif Group, Viale Miramare 109, 34136 Trieste (TS), Italy, info@greif-group.com, +39 337 934 148). Requests concerning personal data may currently be directed to info@greif-group.com.

2. Data Processed

2.1 Data provided through forms: Depending on the type of inquiry, the website may process first name, last name, email address, telephone number, preferred method of contact, message content, inquiry category, preferred viewing date or time and information identifying the property concerned. 2.2 Automatically generated context: The inquiry system may include the page language, property title, property reference, property region, property URL and other technical context required to route and understand the request. 2.3 Technical request data: When the website is accessed, hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, request headers, timestamps and security-related events. This data is processed as part of normal web delivery, security and abuse prevention. 2.4 Anti-spam control: Public forms include a non-visible anti-spam field intended to identify automated submissions. Information submitted through this field is used only to suppress suspected automated messages.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases

• Responding to inquiries: Purpose: To receive, assess and respond to a visitor’s request. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps at the visitor’s request). • General business communication: Purpose: To manage communications not directly connected with a specific transaction. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in receiving and responding to business communications). • Website operation and security: Purpose: To deliver the website, maintain stability, prevent abuse and protect systems. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating and securing the website). • Legal obligations and claims: Purpose: To comply with legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(c) GDPR and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Required and Optional Information

Fields marked as required are necessary to submit the relevant inquiry. Optional information may help Greif Group respond more effectively but is not required unless the selected request type expressly depends on it, such as a telephone callback or proposed viewing time.

5. Inquiry Delivery and Storage

Inquiry data is transmitted to the website’s server endpoint, validated and delivered to the designated Greif Group email inbox using the Resend transactional email service. The website application does not save submitted inquiries to a public-inquiry database in Payload CMS, PostgreSQL or Supabase. The content of an inquiry may nevertheless remain in the recipient email account, transactional email delivery records and infrastructure logs for the period required to process the request, maintain security, meet legal obligations or manage possible claims.

6. Recipients and Service Providers

• Vercel: Vercel provides website hosting, content delivery and server-side execution, processing technical request and security data. • Resend: Resend provides transactional email delivery for messages submitted through the website. • OpenStreetMap: Interactive property maps load map tiles from infrastructure associated with OpenStreetMap. When a map is displayed, the visitor’s browser requests map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap servers, transmitting technical request data such as IP address and requested coordinates. • Hosting and CMS infrastructure: Content-management infrastructure stores editorial content and media. Public inquiry submissions are not stored in the website’s CMS database.

7. International Transfers

Some service providers may process data in, or make data accessible from, countries outside the European Economic Area. Where required, such processing is subject to the transfer mechanisms and safeguards made available by the relevant provider, which may include adequacy decisions, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the inquiry, manage subsequent communication, comply with applicable legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The website does not currently implement automated deletion of inquiry emails.

9. Rights of Data Subjects

Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access to their personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. They may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests may be sent to info@greif-group.com.

10. Complaint to Supervisory Authority

Individuals have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Italy, the competent authority is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it). www.garanteprivacy.it

11. No Automated Decision-Making

The website does not use submitted inquiry data for automated decision-making or profiling.

12. Children’s Privacy

The website is intended for persons seeking information about Greif Group, properties, hospitality and related services. It is not intentionally directed to children.

13. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated to reflect changes in the website, service providers, legal requirements or processing activities. The current version and update date are published on this page.
